Indonesian, the most friendly inhabitants of the earth, mutual assistance to each other, helping each other, polite and smiling. If may be described, the Indonesian people as protagonist in a novel or a film that is quite stressful. Indonesia is a living paradise, with 17 thousand islands, coastlines reached 99 093 kilometers and are in the Pacific Ring of Fire, Indonesia has many natural tourist destinations such as mountains and beaches are endless even to visit one by one though with a lifetime traveling.

It's not a secret anymore that Indonesia was one of the countries that has the most rich cultural diversity in the world with more than 750 tribes and 500 languages and local dialects. Indonesian arts and culture has been recognized in international eyes, even gamelan is taught in schools abroad. In Indonesia, will often encountered people that greet or smile at others as they passed in the street. This is because the habits of people in Indonesia who are so communal makes them more open, even tend to want to know, to strangers.

However, there are still some critics that did not have a good attitude, not knowing its purpose in criticizing, not even knowing why do they criticize?. More specifically, the context of "criticizing" no longer fit for some people in Indonesia, but rather to "judge". There are still some taxonomy, grouping, categorizing and forth in a sociable environment, still there are some groups that cover themselves, reluctant to accept, reject other opinion, even disparage things that considered as different from their opinion. Has become human nature to afraid of something that they don't know yet, but it doesn't mean to reject it.

There is nothing wrong with the difference of opinion. Any disagreement should be appreciated as a sign of  the other person's concern. However, consider into the human rights that have the freedom to use their mind, it could be a matter addressed differently or even exclusive. Moreover, if the topic of the discussion was still in the gray area or ambiguous. This is the cause of the difference of opinion.

Although there are rules that say "it's not what you say, but the way you say it". can not be forced to everyone for speaking and behaving as you wish. Therefore, it should also apply the principle "it's not the messenger but the message, do not shot the messenger", (argumentum ad hominem), but the argument that it conveys. Many things can make a person to have a different opinions with other people. If the goal is for the common good in an atmosphere of equality, then there is no right to judge who is right or who is wrong. Therefore. it's required disclosure of all parties to accept the existence of an understanding of others that are not in line with the understanding of the other one. This is where the principle applies to agree for disagree. as Voltaire said, "I Disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it".

consider from things above. because of the difference of opinion then could see an issue through other perspectives that may have previously escaped from consideration. Thus, the understanding of a thing becomes more comprehensive, complete, and thoroughly. Is this not very useful for the progress and maturity of Indonesia? Remember the motto of Indonesia? "Bhinneka tunggal ika". Unity in diversity.
